Member of Oslo Cancer Cluster Biomolex AS, went all the way to the top of the Eurostar program for technology companies.

“This shows again that Oslo Cancer Cluster member companies develops and delivers R&D projects that are among the best in Europe. Last year two other member companies, PCI Biotech and Sirnasense, made third best in Eurostar. The Biomolex project is a joint venture between two private companies and an academic institution; this type of collaboration is the core strength of Oslo Cancer Cluster. We congratulate Biomolex", says Jonas Einarsson, head of the board of Oslo Cancer Cluster.

The Research Council also congratulates
CEO of The Research Council in Norway, Arvid Hallén, also congratulates Biomolex. He says in a comment that companies like these are very important for future Norwegian industry, and Hallén is truly impressed with the company ranking number on in this tough international competition.

Biomolex CEO Håvard H. Hauge is surprised and happy with the Eurostar ranking. “We knew we had a god project with excellent partners, but we are still surprised that we are ranked as number one", says Hauge. He stresses the importance for Biomolex and future development of the technology.

Great potential
Biomolex will together with the Swedish pharmacy company BioInvent and the University of Lund develop a complete technology, both software and utility, for biological analyses that may be used for developing better cancer treatments, and other sorts of treatments. With the help of imaging the Biomolex technology shows whether the medication actually gets to the target and has an effect or not, or if there is unwanted side effects with the treatment.
