Oslo Cancer Cluster is a member-, and network organization for industry, organisations, research institutions, finance institutions and regional development actors in the field of cancer R&D. Oslo Cancer Cluster want to include more members from all parts of Norway and abroad.

Why should you become a member?
Oslo Cancer Cluster has a vision: “To transform world class cancer research into new and accessible cancer diagnostics and treatment and thereby improve and prolong the lives of cancer patients. We aspire to be one of the five most innovative cluster for developing new cancer diagnostics and treatment in the world by 2013 - measured by oncology pipeline.” As a member you will contribute to this vision and important goal!
The benefits for you and your organizations as member of Oslo Cancer Cluster are many:
- You get access to a world class network of cancer R&D organizations.
- We encourage all our members to collaborate and interact. We will facilitate collaboration and networking through R&D networks and other kinds of activities such as media training days, courses and parties.
- We heavily promote the Oslo Cancer Cluster and our members both in Norway and abroad, in media and at conferences such as BIO, AngloNordic and others.
We promise to work actively with these issues, which all members will benefit from:
1. We will work to secure international compatible framework conditions for the life science industry in Norway.
2. We will work to establish a national and international network of clinical research units in cancer, which will secure our members access to phase I clinical trials.
3. We will prepare and drive the establishment of Oslo Cancer Cluster Innovation Park that will include big pharmas, the Cancer Registry of Norway, bio banks, clinical research and high school education with focus on life science and entrepreneurship.
4. We will strengthen and develop international collaboration with Cancer-Bio-Santé and Canceropole in Toulouse, France and arrange yearly partnering and investor conferences for French and Norwegian biotech companies involved in cancer R&D.
5. We will active promote the members both in Norway and abroad to attract early phase investors and partners from the pharmaceutical industry.
6. We will work to secure economic support to early phase projects.
