Oslo Cancer Cluster has an extensive international network in oncology. We are continuously working to extend it so that our members may benefit from this in their research and development of novel cancer treatments.

European partners
In Europe we collaborate closely with a leading French cancer cluster, the Cancer-Bio Santé in Tolouse. Oslo Cancer Cluster and Cancer-Bio Santé has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that ensures a good and close partnership between the two cancer clusters and our members. The European Cancer Cluster Partnering – event is a direct result of our collaboration.

We are currently broadening our European network towards other centres such as Heidelberg in Germany, Lund in Sweden and Copenhagen in Denmark.

North-American partners
In the United States Oslo Cancer Cluster recently signed an agreement to collaborate with the Hamner Institutes for Health Sciences in North Carolina. The Hamner Institutes play an active role in linking together translational research programs in oncology with the University of North-Carolina, Duke University, North Carolina State University and Wake Forest University.

The collaboration with The Hamner Institutes ensures that Oslo Cancer Cluster and our member’s gets guidance and assistance in preclinical and clinical development in the US.

 
Chinese partnership
Oslo Cancer Cluster and the prestigious Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica (SIMM), part of the Chinese Academy of Sciences have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at accelerating development and adoption of new cancer therapies for the benefit of patients worldwide.
